OBSIDIAN SPACE OFFICE – SPACE OF DEPTH & STABLE THINKING

As an interior designer, I am always fascinated by spaces that evoke emotions, especially those that are quiet, deep and powerful.

The Obsidian Space Office project is such a journey – where I pursue radical minimalism but not cold, luxury but not ostentatious.

Inspired by obsidian – a shiny black mineral formed from molten lava, the project is a combination of the silence of black and the inner strength – the true spirit of a modern, confident and thoughtful office.

Design Language – Strong, Quiet and Purposeful

The space is built according to the philosophy of “Less but deeper” – few details, but each element has design depth:

 

• The main color tones are black stone, dark gray and graphite, combined with materials such as rough black wood, frosted glass, smoky gray stone and raw metal, creating an “energy field” that is both quiet and full of concentration.

Light & Materials – When Light Becomes Material

In Obsidian Space, light does not shine in – it spreads out.

I use a system of recessed downlights – spotlights with neutral light temperatures, making the space soft, not harsh but still sharp, helping workers maintain a sense of alertness without pressure.

Interior materials are chosen to absorb light instead of reflecting it, to create a feeling of calm – depth – sustainability, very suitable for professions that focus on thinking, strategy or technology.

 

Workspace shapes work mindset

Obsidian Space Office is not just a place to work, but a place where thinking is organized, energy is gathered and professionalism is shown through every detail.

I designed:

• The working area is open but not “noisy”, thanks to the layout of visual blocks and sound-absorbing materials.

 

• The meeting areas, private boxes and break spaces are arranged as “static blocks” – creating a clear but not chaotic flow of movement.

 

• The reception and entrance are like an “obsidian crack”, strong and sharp, leaving a deep impression right from the first step.

Obsidian Space – Space for the deep

Not for loud or showy, Obsidian Space Office is for people who work deep – the introverts, the quiet strategists, or the tech teams that need to focus.

This is a place to think deep, work hard – and express your identity fully, without saying much.
