Muted Soul
The Muted Soul project is a deeply metaphorical living space – where emotions are not ostentatious but still clearly present through every material, light and space. As an interior designer, I chose this name as a way to express a quiet, deep soul that shines in its privacy – an aesthetic that is not noisy, does not follow trends, but quietly reveals its identity.
Meaning of the name – Muted Soul
“Muted” – does not mean losing the sound, but choosing to live slowly, lightly, and deeply. “Soul” is what remains behind all the superficial things. “Muted Soul” is a space concept for those who appreciate simplicity, understand the beauty of silence, and feel every little vibration in the design as if listening to their own inner self.

Materials and color palette – quiet but emotional
The space is created with natural, rustic materials but is delicately processed:
- Wood appears throughout, not only as a material but also as a memory, as a warmth.
- Velvet, leather, and wool bring softness, warmth, and tactile depth.
- The colors do not exceed the neutral threshold – mainly ash gray, earth brown, moss green, smoky beige. These are colors like whispers – not overwhelming but always present.

Light – a soft gaze
The light in Muted Soul is not dazzling. It is treated like a thin layer of fabric covering the space:
- Floor lamps and table lamps with soft yellow light are arranged to create a soft light area, evoking a sense of privacy and contemplation.
- Natural light is moderated just enough, pouring into the space through fabric curtains or light-filtering doors – so that the room always has shadows, always has a dim part.

Space organization – simple with intention
Muted Soul space emphasizes breathing space and void in design. Each piece of furniture is not much, but each has function and emotion.
- The chairs and coffee table are arranged with a subtle distance – to create a quiet space between conversations.
- Bookshelves, hanging paintings, and decorations are like pieces of memory placed in the right place, so that each person living in the house can continue to write their own story..

The Whole Spirit – The Art of Stillness
Muted Soul is a space for introverts who are rich in experience. This is not a place to show off, but a place to pause, observe, and restore. Every little detail – from materials, lighting, to color schemes – is carefully selected to retain emotions and eliminate noise.

With Muted Soul, I didn’t just complete an interior design – I created a state of being. A home that doesn’t need to speak loudly but still invites: “Stay. Breathe. Slow down a bit.” This is a clear demonstration of my design philosophy: true aesthetics are not about form, but about emotion – and emotion is best when it’s unobtrusive.
