BLACKNEST OFFICE – MINIMALIST SPIRIT AT THE CREATIVE CORE
As an interior designer, I see every office not just as a place to work, but as an ecosystem – where ideas are born, people connect and culture is nurtured.
With the Blacknest Office project, my goal is to create a minimalist – thoughtful – and deep workspace that is true to the spirit of the name “Blacknest”.
Blacknest – A “dark nest” of sharp thinking
“Blacknest” is not just a color. It is the concept of a safe space that inspires concentration and creativity – like a carefully constructed nest in a chaotic world.
I chose a modern minimalist style, with the main color scheme being:
- Matte black – as the base
- Ash grey and cool white – create visual rhythm and the smoked brushed metal accents – give a modern and professional feel.

Materials & Light – Refined but not Cold
The Blacknest Office space is not very detailed. But each detail has a reason to exist:
- Dark wood, frosted glass, black metal and artificial stone combine to create a balance between “rustic – quiet – modern”.
- The main lighting is hidden light, with a flexible spotlight system, helping to create depth while still maintaining comfort when working for a long time.

Spatial Structure – Minimalism for Efficiency
I divided the office in the following directions:
- Flexible shared workspace, optimizing natural light and reducing visual noise.
- Small meeting areas – private boxes – discussion corners, designed as quiet “black cocoons”, ideal for deep work sessions.
- The pantry – lounge counter has a “slower” spirit with warm wood materials, creating a place to rest and regenerate energy.
Everything revolves around one principle:
Less to focus. Dim to brighten.

Blacknest Office – Silence with purpose
A workspace doesn’t need to be flashy. Sometimes, it’s the understated design that creates the environment that fosters sustainable creativity.
Blacknest Office is such a space – where every element is restrained, to highlight what is most important: People and thinking.
